to me, with so many secondary roots coming off of the main taproot. But,
it's ONE carrot grown by Kevin Fortey of @giantveg. Here are his two top
tips for growing EPIC carrots.
1. Start off giant carrot seeds in an airpot or airRAP and use a very light
soil mixture to make transplanting easier. Transplanting is key because it
helps achieve bigger roots and a heavier carrot.
2. Use drip irrigation and avoid hand watering, as carrots are prone to
splitting if they get a lot of water at once.
