@tinmanlee I was screaming "holy shit holy shit" in my heart the whole time
while madly pressing the shutter. 8 days in the Arctic without seeing a
polar bear, 7 days in Alaska without seeing a brown bear, hundreds of hours
I waited in extreme heat for a bobcat kitten. But sometimes I get lucky.
Really lucky. Ultra lucky. Here's my first leopard encounter ever in my
life, in Maasai Mara, Kenya. Sensing that an adult male leopard was nearby
which could harm her cub, this beautiful mother leopard the locals called
"Luluka" carried her young cub to a new area in an early morning, facing
the direction of the sun. I would have never even dared to dream of such
encounter in my life. Truly blessed. Nikon D850, Nikon 180-400 f/4, f/4,
1/1000s, ISO 720.
