Two Sea Snakes in the Deep Blue Sea! 🐍 .
Sea snakes are amongst the most venomous species of snakes in the world.
Since their venom evolved for quickly incapacitating their prey, rather
than for self defence as their land counterparts, its potency and toxicity
results in swift conclusions!
However, despite their incredible venom, humans are at very little risk
from these species.
This is since they are by nature timid, meaning that they would much rather
flee than bite. Even when they do bite, only 20% are estimated to inject venom.
Like much in nature, the best way to avoid tragic consequences is to simply
respect the locals, and respect their space!
