These two whitetail bucks were obviously intent on besting the other, but ultimately their relentless pursuit of victory cost both of them deerly.

Now neither one of them gets to pass along their genes, and the local scavenger population receives a boost in nutrients, the indirect consequence of an influx of testosterone.
