Ok yes she looks ridiculous and yes I know these can cause sores. But it's only for two days until her surgery- her poor underside fin is drying up and burning from it being upside down out of the water all day. We'll watch her. And hopefully the surgery works. I will let her go if it doesn't. I can't make her live like this permanently.

Named Yezoceras elegans, the new ammonite species swam in the Cretaceous seas between 89 and 86 million years ago.
